The kick-off meeting of SupERB was successfully held in Limassol, Cyprus on January 11th, 2019 with the participation of the project’s partners and the designated RPF scientific officer.
During the meeting, members of the HO research team gave presentations on technical, administrative and management issues regarding the Project. Firstly, a general presentation of the program reviewed the purpose and objectives of the program, as well as the consortium and organization chart on the basis of which the defined roles were assigned for the Project Coordination Committee (PCC) and the Scientific and Technical Management Team (STMT). Secondly, for all the Work Packages (WPs) the main activities, the time allocation of each PA and the deliverables were presented. Also, in the presentation of the WPs, a discussion was made on how they will be implemented. Furthermore, the key provisions of the Project’ Contract and the Restart Work Programme were presented by the Coordinator. After the closure of the meeting the consortium visited the Laboratory facilities where the testing will take place, including the actuators, strong floor/wall, testing machines etc.
